Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my quiet little corner of the world.

I’ve dreamed of being a writer ever since the day I first learned to invent my own stories. As a military child, I used my overactive imagination to create worlds more alluring than the Marine Corps bases I orbited with my family. I originally planned to study English in college, but decided International Relations better suited my curiosity and wanderlust. My decades-long career in local and international development helped spark a passion for economic history and women's empowerment, which I now plan to bring to life through my fiction.

I hold an MA in International Studies from the University of Exeter, an MSc in International Management from The American University of Paris, and a BA in International Relations from Mary Baldwin University. Community is one of my greatest core values. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Federation of Art and am a Community Ambassador for the National Foundation for Cancer Research. I love connecting with people, and am a member of the Historical Novel Association, Women's Fiction Writers Association, and the Capital Speakers Club of Washington, DC.

Although I consider many places “home,” and have left pieces of my heart all over the world, I live in Annapolis, MD, my kingdom by the sea.
